Upcoming Conventions
This year StoryForge will be attending the following conventions. If you are going to be coming, please let us know so we can meet up!
WonderCon 2015
Rachel will be joining Making Comics again at WonderCon! Here is a bit about their panel: This year’s Making Comics Worldwide Gutter Talk Wondercon panel will be about storytelling in comics and will focus on the beginning stages of telling a story. For a lot of creative folks out there, sometimes the hardest part of telling a story is starting. Sure, it’s one thing to come up with a story idea. The tricky part, though, is fleshing out that story and making it come alive on paper. Join us April 4th at 10am in Room 211 to get the push you need. – See more at: http://www.makingcomics.com/2015/03/23/wondercon-2015/#sthash.5IkNVsFX.dpuf
Past Conventions
WyrdCon 2014
WyrdCon was a fantastical place filled with incredible people. It was our first launch of the print version of “House on Writer’s Block” and we also did pre-official release sales of Dark Menagerie. More importantly, we got to meet and connect with an huge array of other storyteller, hear their stories and learn from one another. Already we’re looking forward to doing it again next year! Sarah Yoon shares a little more about our time at WyrdCon in this article.
We also got a little press coverage from LA Weekly, which you can read here.
WonderCon 2014
We had an incredible time at WonderCon 2014 this year! We had the very great pleasure of speaking on the panel “Making Comics With the World” with the good folks at Making Comics and Jason Brubaker.
Octavian, our noble mascot and resident octopus also made his public debut at WonderCon this year. He graced the convention with his presence by sitting nobly atop the heads of many a wonderful people.

Shin Yin Khor, an artist and comic writer, was somewhat puzzled by Octavian’s genteel disposition, but she humored all the same. You can check out her work at www.sawdustbear.com.

Hana Kim, the curator of Supahcute.com

We are pleased to present to you Vanessa Ramirez, the designer of Monsters Mustaches and More. If her mustachiod monsters have intersted you, you can look her up at http://www.vanessaramirez.blogspot.com.
